Mazeland Gardens and Discovery Center

Hands on exhibits in the largest North American garden maze. Family- oriented. Open May 15 through Labor Day, 10AM until 7PM.

Uncle Sam Boat Tours

Tours, cruises. Open April through October, daily 8AM until 11PM.



NYS Salmon River Fish Hatchery
Oswego City Route 22, Altmar, NY 13302
Fish hatchery supplies Great Lake and tributaries stock with chinook, coho salmon, brown, rainbow, steelhead trout. Has an info booth, TV shows, overlook balconies, group tour path, lure display, and fish specimans. Free admission. Handicap accessable. Open March through November, daily 9AM until 4PM.


Cape Vincent:

Five large aquaria containing St Lawrence River and Lake Ontario fish. Fishing, displays, picnicking. Free admission. Open May through October, daily 9AM through 5PM.



Dwight D. Eisenhower Lock

Interpretive center, viewing deck (turnstile fee), films, picnic tables. Open during shipping season 9AM-9PM. Handicap accessible (except viewing deck). Free admission (turnstile fee for viewing deck).

St Lawrence - FDR Power Project

Has working models, hands-on energy exhibits, murals, computerized exhibits, multimedia show on power developments, observation deck viewing Moses- Saunders Power Dam. Free admission. Handicap accessable. Open: Memorial Day through Labor Day, daily 9:30AM until 6PM; Labor Day through Columbus Day, daily 9AM until 4:30PM; after Columbus Day, Monday through Friday 9AM until 4:30PM. Open holidays Memorial Day through Columbus Day.


Natural Bridge:

Natural Bridge Caverns

The Natural Bridge Caverns is a boat tour on the Indian River where it flows through the Caverns and under the highway. There is lots of wild spelunking to do, since only a third of the caverns is included in the tour. The best rock and crystal hunting anywhere, native trout fishing and tent camping along the river. Open Memorial Day thru Oct., everyday, 9AM-dusk

Free, family outdoor concert series, featuring world-class performers-- Open June, July and early August; Thursday and Sunday Evenings.



Energy Center

Hand's on exhibits on electric generation/transmission. Visitors center for three working nuclear power plants. Group tours available. Free admission. Handicap accessable. Open year round: November through April, Monday through Friday 10AM to 5PM; May through October, daily 10AM to 5PM; closed holidays.
