On National Register of Historic Places. This is the only building remaining of the Auburn Theology Seminary (circa 1818). The interior of the chapel was designed and built by J.A. Holtzer, a Tiffany Glass designer. Open year round Tu-F 1-4PM and by appointment. A small admission fee is charged.

Location where Joseph Smith, founder of the Mormon Church, received the gold tablets from which the Book of Mormon was translated. Religious exhibits and films in Center. Monument to angel Moroni outdoors. Open year round, daily 9AM-6PM. Handicap accessible. Free admission.

Joseph Smith Farm and Sacred Grove
Stafford Road, Palmyra, NY 14552

The 1820s farm (restored) of the founder of the Mormon Church. The Sacred Grove is where Joseph Smith had his first vision of the angel Moroni. Open year round, 9AM-6PM. Handicap accessible. Free admission.
