BREIA has three trail locations in diverse landscapes, each offering a distinctive outdoor experience. Our trails are open and groomed for cross country skiing and snowshoeing (due to varying conditions, not all trails may be groomed at all times). Our trail system is open all year for your outdoor recreation enjoyment, free to the public 24 hours a day. You will find brochures and trail maps at each trail head sign in shed, please sign in. Egypt Road Trails: on Egypt Road in Alder Creek, New York (Route 12N of Utica), a warming hut is at the Cemetery Trail. Black River Canal Trail system: On Route 12 North from Utica (just past the first light at the Headwater Plaza) the Boonville Search & Rescue warming hut is open weekends from 9:00-5:00, with ski equipment rentals available. Skyfields on Jackson Hill: On Jackson Hill off of Route 46 past the village of Boonville. Visit our web site for trail conditions, trail maps and brochures.
