Fly fishing museum and library. Classes offered. Open mid-Mar through Nov 1, daily 10AM-4PM; Nov 2 through mid-March weekdays 9AM-1PM. Donation requested.


Mount Tremper:

Mt. Tremper Arts is the Catskill's newest contemporary arts center, featuring modern dance performances and photography exhibits as well as classes, workshops and lectures in the beautiful setting of the Catskill Mountains. Open Summer Festival Season runs mid-July through the end of August.


New Paltz:

Unframed Artists Gallery is open weekends 12 to 5 PM, and is staffed by exhibiting artists. Demonstrations are frequent during the open hours and workshops take place anytime though out the week. Go to the web site for information. UAG is a cooperative gallery with five large member shows per year: spring, summer, early fall, and early winter. The gallery is usually closed in January and February. Open March through December, Saturday and Sunday 12 - 5 PM



Zadock Pratt Museum

The Zadock Pratt Museum, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, was the home of a 19th century leather-tanning tycoon who transformed the Prattsville area of the northern Catskill Mountains from a forested wilderness to a thriving, stable farming and manufacturing community. Fully-restored and opened to the public in 1976, the Zadock Pratt Museum today is a repository of artifacts and archives of Zadock Pratt and the tanning industry. The Museum is also a cultural and educational center serving the community, dedicated to the preservation of all aspects of the history of the Catskill Mountains. Open Memorial Day through Columbus Day, Wed.-Sun., 1PM-5PM.



Bruderhof Museum

The Bruderhof Museum brings to life the eighty year history of the Bruderhof, an international Christian communal movement. Designed,built, and operated by youth of the Bruderhof,the museum houses a dozen main exhibits that tell the colorful story spanning four continents and five generations. Groups are welcome.
