Located in one of Catskill's oldest business establishments, Day & Holt Co., Swamp Angel Antiques is the natural progression of business ventures for Pat and Stephanie Walsh. Day & Holt Co was owned by Philip Walsh, Pat's grandfather, and operated as a hardware store since the early 1900's, dabbling in antique furniture into the 1920's. Pat and Stephanie decided that 100+ years of hardware was enough and retired only to re-open the refurbished space several months later concentrating on old tools, select antique furniture and accessories, and sporting collectibles. Which mostly means DECOYS and lots of them! Catskill is a small village located in upstate New York, 30 miles south of Albany and 100 miles north of New York City, at the intersection of the Hudson River and the Catskill Creek at the foot of the Catskill Mountains. We invite you to come visit online or in person and share our enthusiasm for our beautiful area and our wonderful store.
